I wanted to make my Quanum Nova have flight characteristics closer to my DJI Phantom. Earlier today, I posted the following approximate flight mode translations:
QN/CX-20 Manual Mode = APM Stabilize Mode ~= Phantom Manual Mode
QN/CX-20 Stable Mode = APM Loiter Mode ~= Phantom GPS-ATTI Mode
QN/CX-20 Altitude Sensor Mode = APM Alt Hold Mode ~= Phantom ATTI Mode
QN/CX-20 RTH Mode = APM RTL Mode ~= Phantom Failsafe Mode
This sparked my curiousity, so I went deeper and looked up the specs for the Phantom. They are as follows:
Maximum Angle: 35 degrees
Maximum Yaw Rate: 200 deg/sec
Maximum Ascent/Descent Rate: 6 m/s
Maximum Horizontal Velocity: 10 m/s
The APM parameters that control these are the following:
ANGLE_MAX
ACRO_YAW_P
PILOT_VELZ_MAX
WPNAV_LOIT_SPEED
Here are the default settings for the QN/CX-20:
Maximum Angle = ANGLE_MAX = 2200 (this is 22 degrees)
Maximum Yaw Rate = ACRO_YAW_P = 4.5 (this is 200 deg/s)
Maximum Ascend/Descend Rate = PILOT_VELZ_MAX = 250 (this is 2.5 m/s)
Maximum Horizontal Velocity = WPNAV_LOIT_SPEED = 500 (this is 5 m/s)
I made the following changes to my QN to closer match the Phantom:
Maximum Angle = ANGLE_MAX = 3500 (this is 35 degrees)
Maximum Yaw Rate = ACRO_YAW_P = 4.5 (this is 200 deg/s) (no change)
Maximum Ascend/Descend Rate = PILOT_VELZ_MAX = 500 (this is 5.0 m/s)(highest value allowed)
Maximum Horizontal Velocity = WPNAV_LOIT_SPEED = 1000 (this is 10 m/s)
I just got in from a successful flight. I could not believe how much more responsive the Quanum Nova was! It was so much similar to flying the Phantom. I am extremely happy with the results!
Какви мотори може да се слагат на тази рамка ?Вчера ми пристигна рамката на cheerson cx20, тези дни чакам пауър борда с моторите. Като за начало полетния контролер ще е CC3D, а след това ще го сменя с mini apm v3.1.
За задаване на waypoints трябва Mission Planner. Освен това при полет е необходима допълнителна телеметрия, която СХ-20 няма!
Телеметрията не е задължителна.
